Business Ethics & Professionalism (BUS-101)

Welcome to Business Professionalism & Ethics! In this course, you’ll learn about the ethical responsibilities board members have to the association they manage.

We’ll cover how ethics apply to HOAs and the fiduciary duties of board members, as well as how boards should handle confidential information, enforce community rules fairly, conduct association meetings properly, communicate transparently with homeowners, and hire and work effectively with contractors, vendors, and other professionals. We’ll also discuss how to create a code of conduct for the board and a committee charter.
